Graphite Pencil Drawing • Fine Art Still Life

Technique: Fine art approach using 2B - 5B graphite pencils on white Borden & Riley drawing paper working from pencil roughs of three idea compositions developing into three value drawings, one of which is selected to take into development of final content.
The compositions are developed from set-ups of real items arranged differently for each of the three using a different light source. The final composition began with a variable line weight drawing, added shade and shadow for defining surfaces and depth with no use of eraser.
